Welcome to God’s own County
When people think of top tier golf tours, rarely will Yorkshire be in the conversation, it should be. Containing 3 of the top 20 inland golf courses in England (Alwoodley, Ganton and Moortown), a golf tour in Yorkshire can rival most when it comes to the on course offering.
In addition to this you can spend your evenings in the historic York or the vibrant city of Leeds. Yorkshire folk are rightly proud to be from God’s own County and a golf tour in the County will highlight just one of the many reasons why.
Welcoming, Value for Money and top quality golf are just three reasons why you should make Yorkshire your next golf trip.

Alwoodley
The first course designed by the great Dr Alister MacKenzie, also a founder member, Alwoodley is a classy blend of moorland and heathland to the north of Leeds. with springy fairways cutting through a profusion of heather, whins and shrubs. It features eye-catching and naturalistic-looking bunkers, strategic choices, and large, often undulating greens.

Moortown
A true classic, Moortown has been on the ‘must play’ list of every serious golfer since it was crafted by Dr Alister MacKenzie in 1909 and then hosted the Ryder Cup 20 years later. Moortown is brimming with history, a fact which is evident from the moment you pull on your spikes in the charming locker room that has aged gracefully and sets the perfect tone.

Ganton
If the quality of a course can be gauged by the calibre of the names on its honours board then Ganton belongs in the very highest company. In 2003, it become only the third club in Britain, after Muirfield and Royal Birkdale, to have played host to the Ryder Cup, Walker Cup and Curtis Cup.
