South West Swing added to the 2021 schedule
by The NCG Top 100s Tour | January 1, 2021
We are pleased to announced further venues have been added to the Top 100s Tour as we continue to grow our most comprehensive schedule to date.
In September, we will visit two incredible courses ranked in our England Top 100s ranking list – with Bude & North Cornwall and East Devon making up our South West Swing.
About Bude & North Cornwall
Situated close to south-west gems Trevose and Saunton, Bude is a fantastic linksland challenge that is well worth a visit on any golfing trip to the Cornwall coastline. The course was established in 1891 on the common land known as Summerleaze Downs and quickly garnered a reputation for quality.
Legendary player and course designer Harry Vardon was a regular visitor early on in the 20th century and held the course record for a number of years.
The course boasts natural all-weather, undulating fairways and excellent drainage which means that it is very rarely unplayable, ensuring that your golf break will not be dictated by the unpredictable seaside weather.

About East Devon
East Devon GC finds itself between Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton. It really doesn’t get much airtime outside the local area but it’s our job to tell you that this place is the real deal.
Harry Colt, with notable contributions from Herbert Fowler and James Braid, is largely responsible for the design of this classy layout. At times, you could be in Surrey or Berkshire.
Not just for the look of the holes but also the impeccable conditioning. The fairways and greens were wonderfully firm, and all the rain was doing was making them skiddier.
